What is the minimum value of work you undertake?We undertake work from the any value be it a lac or a few crores. However we prefer to do interior projects that are a combination of works like woodwork, flooring, false ceiling, civil, electrical and plumbing etc. Do you charge for giving a proposal?We do not charge for the initial proposal. This includes preparation of the interior layout made to the satisfaction of the client. On approval of this the budgetary estimate is prepared. The estimate is made to suit the client’s budget. Materials can be selected accordingly What are the steps involved in the process, “From conception to completion”?Holistic interiors work on a systematic basis and all our activities are well organized. The process from conception to completion involves:
What is the sequence of work?Once we have the met the client and got his requirements, we take the measurement of the site and furnish him a furniture layout. Based on the discussions with them we make changes to the drawings to suit the requirements and satisfaction of the client. Once the initial furniture layout is approved a budgetary estimate is given. If the estimate is not as per the budget changes are made accordingly. On approval of the budget a set of supervisors separate for interiors and electrical is appointed by us to oversee the work. A detailed set of drawings of each element is made. This is shown to the client and the approvals sought. Once this is finalized the works starts. The work is closely monitored by our supervisors and senior management to ensure timely completion and quality finish Would you give a 3-D view for the interior work?Once the budgetary approval is approved we could give one or two views for the interiors. Do you undertake constructions and renovations?Yes we do all types of civil construction, renovations and modification work other than the turnkey interior work which we specialize in. What are the payment terms?Initially we take an advance amount normally 30% and then subsequently depending on the progress of work the interim payments are sought. 10%of the final amount could be paid to us after the work is complete How is the interest of the client safeguarded?Prior to the start of work we take two insurances namely workman compensation and site insurance. The workman insurance ensures that the workmen who undertake the work are amply insured. Site insurance ensures that any visitor or the client is insured if any accident happens to them during their visit because of any accident arising because of this. We are licensed electrical contractors which is important because the maximum accident happens because of faulty electrical installations. This aspect is very carefully looked into Do you give after sales service?We promise to rectify any fault arising out of faulty workmanship for a period of one year at our cost. However as a practice we do not limit it to one year only and this service extends to years together Do you undertake labour contracts?No, as a practice we do not undertake pure labour contracts as proper co-ordination is not possible. We have experienced several times materials not reaching on time and our workers force to idle away time. However certain items like light fittings, geysers etc can be purchased by the client and give which we fit on their behalf at a cost. What do you mean by turnkey projects? Turnkey projects are projects in which a single vendor handles all the various activities and works that is required from the planning stage to the completion stage. Literally it means that the client only needs to turn the key after the project is completed. |
